Investigating the support function of vascularized lung endothelial cells for alveolar progenitor function using an alveolus-on-chip
Lung microvascular endothelial cells are hypothesized to contribute to alveolar repair and regeneration. The presentation will include results on the development of an open-top alveolus-on-chip including vascularized lung endothelial cells cultured with pericytes, and studies on interactions of this compartment with alveolar epithelial cells.
