Innovation hub as accelerator of health care innovation
Medical Spectrum Twente is starting an innovation Hub in order to help accelerate internal initiatives, but also as helpdesk for external initiatives and ideas. Dr. Boony Thio (innovation ambassador, e-Health expert & pediatrician) and dr. Rob van Doremalen (coordinator & technical physician) are strongly involved in the development of this InnovationHub. In this session they will pitch the plans and goals of the hub and like to test with you if this setup has the potential improve and accelerate ideas and initiatives from the audience toward implementation.

Biography
Dr. Rob van Doremalen is a Technical Physician and University of Twente alumnus. For his doctorate he specialized in utilizing the third dimension in medical imaging, which he now applies at the medical 3D lab in MST. Since 2019 Rob also played a key role in the InnovationLab in Deventer Hospital and recently he took on the challenge to help set up the InnovationHub in MST.
