Biography
Marlies Kok is a cardiology resident at Medisch Spectrum Twente with a special interest in Interventional Cardiology. In 2018 she defended her PhD dissertation at the University of Twente on ' Percutanous Coronary Interventions from Various Perspectives'. Together with her colleague Eline Ploumen, she initiated a collaboration with the TechMed Simulation Centre, aiming to improve the expertise necessary for performing coronary angiographies. This will enable junior residents to learn and train specific skills outside the confines of the hospital.
